PROCESS SOLUTION FOR SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

The working principle of horizontal thin-film evaporators, which offer the highest flexibility, is similar to that of vertical thin-film evaporators.

Residence time can be increased, evaporation rates may be higher and turn down ratios can be higher. Applications for horizontal evaporators include recovering large amounts of solvents from viscous products, processing non-homogeneous feeds and performing continuous reactions.

These evaporators are available in full GMP and hygienic designs for food and pharmaceutical applications.
