Glass Lined Evaporation
Glass lined evaporators are used for highly corrosive products where special chrome-nickel alloys or special construction materials such as titanium or tantalum are not suitable or economic.
For processing heat-sensitive products at high vacuum and short residence times, VTA offers wiped film and short path evaporation technology with product wetted parts made of enamel (glass lined) and PTFE material.

- Operating pressure: wiped film evaporators: down to 1mbara short path evaporators: down to 0.001 mbara
- Heating media: Steam or hot oil
- Viscosity: max. 1.000 mPas at operating temperature

- Distillation process: fully continuous
